《無風帶》作者是 2006年中文文學創作獎新詩組冠軍、青年文學生活誌《月台》的成員。畢業於香港浸會大學中文系、同系哲學碩士，獲一級榮譽及應屆最佳成績獎，拿下多個文學獎項。為他寫序的詩人鍾國強說此詩集中，「出現了許多有關『月台』的意象，以及隨之而來的列車、軌道、路牌、燈號、旅人、行、失物招領處，以及月台與車廂之間的縫隙……不難看出呂永佳戀戀徘徊在種種『消失』與『仍在』之間，留下了他個人獨有的印記。」介乎「分隔」與「聯繫」的探索，也許，源於詩人在後記中因為對空間隔膜的恐懼？
